If You Give a Mouse a Cookie -- Stuffed Animal and Book Pairing

Stuffed mouse with link to pattern from Maker Magazine
Picture
I am having so much fun re-learning how to sew!  This is the second stuffed animal I've made.  I found the pattern at the Maker site.  Here's the pattern link:

http://makezine.com/craft/craft_pattern_podcast_mouse_by/

The body is made from fleece, and the ears and tail are felt.

Zoe is really loving the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and we are having fun acting out the book with our new friend, who she has named Zum.

Shelley the Turtle
Here he is, the first stuffed animal I've made EVER!  Is he perfect?  Heck, no!  But is he still cute?  Ab-so-lute-ly.  I got the pattern and instructions from Ashley Johnston at Make It Love It.

You can find the pattern here:

Happy and Sad, Grouchy and Glad
Zoe has really been grooving on turtles and tortoises lately.  They are always her favorite at the zoos we've visited, and the Shelley the Turtle character is her favorite in the book we're reading a lot lately, Happy and Sad, Grouchy and Glad.  Shelley has also been featured on several Sesame Street episodes.
